Jack Nicklaus designed, par 72 golf course; Sabah Golf & Country
Club - another par 72 course designed by Robert Muir Graves, one of the toughest
in South East Asia and home to the Sabah Masters Tournament Omega Tour;
Mount Kinabalu Golf Club - at 5,000 |
Tour cost: from £ 1242 per person on twin/double sharing basis Tour cost shown above is ‘Land only’ and includes internal flights in Sabah but not international airfares, which are dependant on departure date. Please contact us for further information. |
For non-golfing partners, Kota Kinabalu offers much in the way of entertainment,
especially if shopping in modern air-conditioned malls and local open air markets
features on their list of enjoyable activites. Day trips can also be arranged by our local office. For animal lovers, a visit to the Sepilok Orang-Utan Sanctuary is a must - the more energetic could climb Mount Kinabalu, on a two day trek - the green fingered would enjoy a visit to Sabah’s collection of rare orchids - how about a trip to a head-hunters village? Included in this holiday is a day trip to Tunku Abdul Rahman Park where you can dive or snorkel off the coral islands just 15 minutes away, or just spend a day lazing on a white coral sand beach. |
This holiday really does offer something for everyone - though we make no apologies
for gearing it to the needs of adventurous and discerning golfers who would
like to increase the number of different places they have played their sport. |

Probably few golfers have ever entertained the idea of playing golf on the island
of Borneo - but that is just what we are giving you the opportunity of doing!!
Perhaps at this very moment you are thinking you can’t play golf in the
jungle, but in Sabah in Malaysian Borneo, you can find first class, international
standard courses, where the golfing can be as good as anywhere else in the world.

metres above sea level one of the highest courses in the world, with spectacular
views of Mount Kinabalu and the surrounding farmlands and jungle and where the
14th hole is played across a ravine with a gushing river at the bottom!;
Karambunai Resorts Golf Club - a coastal course with its terrifying 3rd hole, played
across a large lake and the remaining holes keeping you on your toes from
tee to green; Dalit Bay - another beach-side course where accuracy off the tees
is a premium on the generally tight fairways, with natural vegetation hazards
and undulation on the fast greens making the reading of lines tricky. |
