Borneo Rainforest & Coral Islands

Day 1 Fly from UK to Kota Kinabalu, Borneo
Day 2 Arrive KK to be greeted at the airport and transfer to Manukan Island to begin your honeymoon
Day 3 At leisure on Manukan Island, lazing on the white sand beach, or snorkelling (optional) (B)
Day 4 Transfer from Manukan to KK airport for flight to Sandakan.   After lunch at the Orang utan Centre, walk into the forest to the viewing platforms for the afternoon feeding of Orang utans. Overnight at Sepilok Nature Resort. (BL)
Day 5 Return to the Rehab Centre for the morning feeding of Orang Utans. Have your lunch at the
English Tea House, overlooking Sandakan town and then transfer to the jetty for your boat ride up-river to Sukau. Evening boat ride to see Proboscis monkeys and overnight at Bukit Melapi Lodge. (BLD)
Day 6 At Bukit Melapi Lodge, visit to Oxbow Lake, river cruise etc (BLD)
Day 7   Transfer from BML to Lahad Datu to begin your drive to Borneo’s Lost World of Danum Valley. Overnight at the exclusive Borneo Rainforest Lodge in a De Luxe River View room. (BLD)
Day 8   At Borneo Rainforest Lodge   Today and tomorrow you will spend time exploring the rain forest in this fascinating hidden valley, almost untouched by the modern world. (BLD)
Day 9   At Borneo Rainforest Lodge (BLD)
Day 10 Return to Lahad Datu to catch your flight back to Kota Kinabalu and
transfer to Nexus Karambunai Beach Resort and check in to overnight. (BL)
Day 11 Early morning pick up to travel by private car to Kota Belud and by boat
to Mantanani Island and check in. Free at leisure. (BLD)
Day 12 At leisure on Mantanani Island (BLD)
Day 13 At leisure until your 1600 -1630hrs boat ride back to the mainland and
transfer to Borneo Novotel to check in and overnight.
Day 14 Appropriately timed transfer to Kota Kinabalu Airport for your return flight to UK.

Romantic Borneo

Day 1   Fly UK to Kota Kinabalu, Borneo, via Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, or, Hong Kong
Day 2   Arrive Kota Kinabalu, to be greeted and transfer to your honeymoon hotel. Romantic candlelight dinner @ Olives Mediterranean Restaurant. (D)
Day 3   A relaxing day, free at leisure. Buffet dinner at The Kingfisher Restaurant. (BD)
Day 4   Mari mari cultural village, reached by walking across a suspension bridge, with a river flowing beneath. Visit each tribe’s traditional house, take photos or just relax and enjoy the natural surroundings. Enjoy delectable traditional and fusion cuisines for lunch. Overnight Nexus. (BL)
Day 5 Depart on a 2hr. drive across the spectacular Crocker Range to the ecologically unique environs of Mt. Kinabalu. At the Park you can see orchids, rhododendrons, ferns, pitcher-plants, kerosene trees and others - take a jungle walk near the Park HQ and learn more about the Rain Forest. After lunch, onward to Poring Hot Springs, rich in wild fruit trees and animal life, passing giant bamboos and ginger plants with edible flowers to reach a jungle-canopy walkway 40m above ground. Then relax in open air outdoor tubs filled with hot/cold running mineral waters. Mid-afternoon, return to Kota Kinabalu. Overnight at your hotel (BL)
Day 6   Check out from Nexus and transfer to the Hyatt Hotel on Kota Kinabalu’s waterfront, with views of the coral islands just off shore. Free at leisure, or to wander in the city and its vast shopping malls. (B)
Day 7   Daytime at leisure and later you will be taken for a Sunset cruise with dinner. Overnight at the Hyatt (BD)
Day 8    Your Borneo honeymoon ends and you will be picked up at a suitable time to return you to the airport for your flight home to the UK, or to your next exotic destination. (B)
