A superbly priced but comprehensive tour to introduce the visitor to Sabah

Included in your itinerarry are visits to a wide variety of places, including, of course, a chance to see orang utans.
You will also vist a cultural village where you will be encouraged to join in the activites and even help prepare your own lunch or dinner. There will be a river cruise followed by a wonderful Malaysian banquet and a chance to see a breathtaking display of fire flies. The highest mountain in south east Asia will also be glimpsed on one of your day trips.

TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1     Fly UK to Kota Kinabalu.
Day 2.    Arrive KK and transfer to 5* hotel and check in.
Day 3.    Garama river safari - cruise in comfort, through the tranquility and serenity of mangroves, nipah palms, scrubs and secondary vegetation. There should be opportunities to see the Proboscis Monkeys, Macaque Monkeys, the rare silver Langur, birds and reptiles, flying foxes and water buffaloes. The cruise will take a pleasant 1 � hours approximately. While returning (weather permitting), watch the sunset as the daylight fades into dusk and watch the spectacular experience of hundreds of fireflies lighting up the trees. At the end of the cruise you can unwind before you are served with a sumptuous traditional Malaysian dinner before returning to Kota Kinabalu. Overnight hotel. (B/D)
Day 4. Kota Kinabalu - free at leisure. (B)
Day 5. Mari Mari cultural village. Overnight KK hotelt. (B)
Day 6. Early morning drive to Poring Hot Springs (130km). Trek though a dipterocarp forest rich in wild fruit trees and animal life, passing giant bamboos and ginger plants with edible flowers to reach a jungle � canopy walkway 40m above ground. Then there will be a optional chance to relax in open air outdoor tubs filled with hot/cold running mineral waters. Overnight at Kinabalu Park (3*). (B/L)
Day 7. After breakfast, transfer to Kinabalu Park. At the Park HQ, visit the Education Centre and the Botanical Garden to see orchids, rhododendrons, ferns, pitcher-plants, kerosene trees and others. Take jungle walk near the Park HQ and learn more about the Montage Forest. Mid-afternoon, return to Kota Kinabalu and check in to Beach resor (3*)t. (B/L)
Day 8 Visit Rasa Ria Orang Utan Centre . Overnight at beach resort (B)
Day 9 � 14     At leisure at Beach Resort, or optional day trips. (B)
Day 15 Appropriately timed transfer to airport for return flight to UK(B)
